It was awesome. First time ever. I've been living in Vermilion parish since 1989.

Visited this restaurant one time with my parents and the service and food were very good. Cooked to order. However, went back today and although the service was good, the food was terrible. We ordered fried pork chops with fries. The pork chops were over done and the fries that came out with the food were old and stale. Should not have been served. The waitress told us that they were having trouble with the fryer in the kitchen. She was genuinely concerned and apologized. The owner, however, came out only when I was paying for the meal and could have cared less about the matter. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this so called restaurant again and will spread the word about my experience to everyone I know.

Poor quality flour for biscuits, very dry and no flavor, breakfast sausage poor quality and taste, white gravy blande. Not the friendliest of service either. This was a second time eating here and it will be the last time for us to eat here.

Food was not good hamburger was not cooked over price for 75.00 could have gone eat a steak never be back again lesson learned

These folks aren't racist. I'm Hispanic and visit every time we come in from Houston to see family. Staff are very polite and food is great.

Abbeville institutionWe stopped by this homely restaurant for brunch on New Year's Day. The food was delicious and the service was fast and efficient. All the staff and customers were super friendly and chatty at this restaurant which simply oozed small town charm and hospitality!

You got to eat the vermillion hamburger. 4oz patty is big enough for me. 8oz would be hard to eat unless you are a very big eater...delicious..

I have no idea who Ronald Gary thought the owner was, but she is most concerned about her customers. I have been eating at The Park since I moved here 6 years ago. Theresa is the owner and her staff is fantastic. The food is good old fashioned down home cooking with a few Cajun and Creole twists. I have never had a bad meal here. That is not to say that sometimes I need to send the plate lunch special back to be heated in a microwave for me because I like my food very hot. That has been my only issue, ever. Try the daily lunch specials for sure and the hamburgers are the best all around. Breakfast anytime and the biscuits and omelets are fabulous.

Good Home cooking

The best ham and cheese omelet I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Orange juice was great and the French Toast was outstanding. Glad my best bud and I made the trip south.
